Restoration of a Robin Day Festival Hall Lounge Chair by L. A. Polishers
Manufactured by Hille, and designed by leading British Modernist Robin Day, this Lounge Chair is a slightly later, and modified version, of the one he created for the Royal Festival Hall in 1951.

The top picture shows the wooden section partially polished and repaired (compare it with the bottom pictures that show the chipped, missing veneer, a fair bit of built up grime and the generally dull and worn finish)

.... a bit of a way still to go with this one.

L. A. Polishers is currently working on this right now!
